Security tight for democratic convention, despite media coverage
The day after Trump’s victory, the state Republican party suspended its convention activities in Cleveland, and the d안마ay after that RNC chair Mike Pence met with the President-elect, the convention held its first session. The Trump campaign refused to concede.
The president-elect later walked into the RNC meeting, where RNC chair Reince Priebus, and then RNC chief strategist and new chair Reince Priebus, sat in on two meetings of the GOP national convention, held at Trump’s New York hotel.
The RNC’s leadership was quick to distance itself from the president-elect when he claimed victory.
“Our convention leaders were extremely disappointed that the RNC had chosen to hold a retreat in Detroit instead of holding our convention in Cleveland,” RNC spokesman Michael Biundo said in an email to ABC News.
“Our convention committee will be meeting next week in Houston, Texas, where we will do things as normal with our national convention and hold our own convention. This is not the appropriate venue for Trump’s supporters, the media or오피 the other RNC members. We plan to continue cooperating with the Trump camp, while doing our best to move Trump supporters to Houston.”

Biology Professor Joseph Gertz, of the Department of Biological Sciences at Texas A&M University, has been outspoken in his opposition to Donald Trump as the Republican party’s presidential nominee.
“I think that Donald Trump would be unfit to be a party leader as is well known in the scientific community,” said Gertz.
“And I think that as a Republican, to be that leader would be a disaster in my opinion. You know, when there’s not the Republican party, to run for president would be to run for national office. That makes me very, very진주출장샵 진주출장안마 concerned about a Trump presidency.”
